We are excited to announce WestPoint’s own Brian Harris was honored by the Indiana Golf Association for earning the 2025 Wagoner Award.
For nearly three decades, Brian has been a dedicated leader, competitor, and advocate for the game of golf in Indiana. His influence reaches far beyond tournament results—he’s made a lasting impact through his service, mentorship, and unwavering commitment to the communities that surround the game.
On the course, Harris has built an impressive playing record at both the state and national levels. In Indiana, he claimed the 2012 Indiana Mid-Amateur Championship, the 2010 Tournament of Champions, and multiple victories in team competitions, including two Indiana State Pro-Am Four-Ball titles and the 2025 IGA Junior/Senior Championship. Nationally, he is a six-time U.S. Mid-Amateur qualifier, advancing to match play in 2010, and a six-time British Mid-Amateur qualifier, where he reached the quarterfinals in 2006. His résumé also includes notable performances at elite amateur events such as the Stocker Cup, Harvey Penick Invitational, Lupton Memorial, and Olympia Fields National Four-Ball, which he won in 2007.
Brian’s career is defined not only by his competitive accomplishments but by the integrity and generosity he brings to every role he serves. From his leadership on the Indiana Golf Foundation Board to his support of local organizations and his consistent sportsmanship on the course, he exemplifies the qualities at the heart of the Cliff Wagoner Award.
His dedication has strengthened the sport, elevated those around him, and contributed to a thriving golf community across the state.
Congratulations from everyone at WPFG!
