Ulric “Ric” Cobb brings a wealth of experience, discipline, and leadership to his role as a Financial Services Representative at WestPoint Financial Group’s Wauwatosa office. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Ric’s early talents on the basketball court took him from Commerce High School to Ranger College, where he was one of only 25 players nationally invited to the junior college division of the Olympic Trials. He went on to star at Marquette University, leading the Warriors in rebounding and field goal percentage, helping the team reach the Elite 8, and earning All-NIT honors during his collegiate career. In 1970, Ric was selected by the Phoenix Suns in the NBA draft before continuing his professional playing career in Europe.
After his playing days, Ric returned to Marquette as an assistant coach and later served as head coach at UW-Milwaukee from 1995 to 1998. He also became a highly regarded AAU coach, helping to shape the futures of numerous Division I players. His years of mentoring and leadership on and off the court reflect his ability to guide, support, and inspire others.
Since 2006, Ric has applied the same discipline and strategic mindset to financial services as a licensed Investment Advisor and Broker, with over 28 years of experience in the securities industry. He is committed to helping individuals and families build confidence in their financial decisions while drawing on a lifetime of leadership and teamwork.
