Timothy Mauntel, PhD, brings a distinctive combination of academic achievement, research expertise, and leadership experience to his role in the financial services industry. A Cincinnati native, he
earned his doctorate in Human Movement Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he developed a passion for applying data driven analysis to solve complex problems.
He went on to serve in a variety of leadership positions with the Department of Defense, including Senior Scientist, Musculoskeletal Injury Research Lead, and Research Director. In each of these roles, Tim honed his ability to evaluate information, design strategies, and guide teams toward successful outcomes — skills that now shape his client-focused approach in financial services.
Tim is committed to building lasting relationships and supporting individuals and families as they navigate important financial decisions. His background allows him to bring both an analytical
perspective and a personal touch, helping clients feel informed and confident as they consider strategies for their future.
Outside of his professional work, Tim values an active and family-oriented lifestyle. He and his wife, Lindsey, enjoy hiking with their two sons, attending their sporting events, and spending time with friends and family. Whether he is hosting a gathering at home or cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals, Tim finds fulfillment in connection and community — qualities he also brings to his work.
He believes that the same dedication, teamwork, and care that matter in family life also form the foundation for serving his clients well.
