Sean S. Cooper, CFP® is the Founder of Cooper Financial Planning and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He focuses on developing strategies that integrate investment, insurance, and financial considerations to help individuals and families pursue their long-term goals. Sean’s approach emphasizes thoughtful resource allocation and tailored strategies designed to support clients as they build wealth and prepare for retirement.
A graduate of Illinois State University, Sean earned his B.S. in Finance with honors. He is also actively engaged in his community, serving as a longtime Executive Board Member of the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce and maintaining memberships with the North Center Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. In addition, he supports organizations including the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, Refugee One, and Shore Community Services.
Outside of his professional life, Sean enjoys golfing, running, and spending time with friends and family. He is known for his practical and people-first approach, bringing the same focus and dedication to his personal relationships that he does to his career.
