Sean Cooper
Sean S. Cooper, CFP® is a Financial Planner and Founder of Cooper Financial Planning, where he provides comprehensive financial, investment, and insurance planning to individuals and families committed to improving their long-term financial well-being. With over 20 years of experience, Sean helps clients thoughtfully allocate their resources and implement strategies aligned with their unique goals — from building wealth to preparing for retirement.
A graduate of Illinois State University, Sean earned his B.S. in Finance with honors. He is deeply engaged in both his profession and community, serving as a long time Executive Board Member of the Lincoln Square Chamber of Commerce, and holding memberships with the North Center Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Sean is a dedicated supporter of several charitable organizations, including the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, Refugee One, and Shore Community Services.
Outside of work, Sean enjoys golfing, running and spending time with friends and family. He brings a practical and people-first approach to financial planning and is passionate about helping others gain confidence in their financial futures.
