Michael Sacher
Since his graduation from The Ohio State University in 1998, Michael has committed himself to the financial services industry. Michael’s career has taken him from Cleveland to South Beach to Columbus to Cincinnati and from Guardian Life to OneAmerica to WestPoint Financial Group. Despite the changes in scenery and companies, the value he’s been delivering has not changed. His success at all levels; individual producer, Sales Manager and General Agent are based on a few fundamental principles that he’s developed along his journey.
1 -To grow your business, simply focus on providing value and trust the rest will come. Clients and Advisors don’t come to us because they want us to sell them something, they come to us so we can help, so just do that.
2- While mission and vision is our purpose, never lose sight of our core values. Culture will be the defining difference between success and failure.
3- Be different. In an industry littered with similarities, it’s our uniqueness that allows us to thrive both professionally and personally.
His focus on his business is matched by the importance he puts on the community he serves. As an organization, Michael ensures consistent activity and presence by all his advisors and staff in groups ranging from the Ronald McDonald House, the ACLU and IRC, Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots and DAV. On an individual level, he serves on various boards, including the Jewish Federation, Children’s Hospital, Hillel House and Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO).
Most important of all his accomplishments, it’s his family that is his true source of joy. Michael has 3 kids Lily, Lucy and Maxwell. So, while not working, Michael used to enjoy rock climbing, playing golf and soccer, but now you’ll often find him driving back and forth to his kids sports, playing with dinosaurs, riding bikes or watching an episode of Transformers.
