Michael is an Associate Partner dedicated to helping clients achieve clarity and confidence in their financial lives. He provides customized strategies in retirement planning, wealth management, estate planning, and insurance—tailoring each plan to align with his clients’ unique goals and priorities.
Michael takes particular pride in working with families and retirees, guiding them through life’s transitions, and helping medical professionals through his partnership with WestPoint’s Physician’s Wealth Resource team. His passion for financial education was inspired by his father, Steve Gorin, and he continues that legacy by providing financial literacy programs for companies and graduating programs at universities across the Midwest.
Michael is a graduate of Butler University and has been with WestPoint Financial Group since 2014. He resides in Carmel with his wife, Meghan, and their three sons, Noah, Connor and Luke. He is active in the community, being selected to the Indiana Jewish Federation’s 36 Under 36 recognition program, serving on the finance committee for the Jewish Federation, helping as a Butler mentor for business students and volunteering as an executive member of the housing corporation for Phi Delta Theta, Indiana Gamma. Michael is also an avid St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues fan.
