Lucas Amell provides objective and customized retirement, investment, estate planning, and insurance strategies to help meet the financial needs of his clients. He works closely with families to help define their goals, implement tailored strategies, and regularly review progress toward their objectives.
A graduate of Carroll University, Lucas earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Investments. He later obtained his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations as well as Wisconsin Life, Health, and Long-Term Care appointments. Prior to joining WestPoint Financial Group, Lucas gained experience as a Tax Professional and as the Director of Financial Operations for a local financial services practice, where his diverse background and commitment to lifelong learning became highly valued.
In addition to his professional work, Lucas has been actively involved with the Friends of Wehr Nature Center, serving on the board of directors since 2017. He also chairs Wehr’s largest annual fundraiser, Cider Sunday, and volunteers frequently at community events. Lucas describes Wehr as “a perfect blend of the things I’m passionate about – Nature, Education, and Community.”
Outside of work, Lucas enjoys a wide range of activities, including hiking, camping, kayaking, snowboarding, reading, making videos, volunteering, photography, traveling, biking, exercising, painting, playing piano, and cooking. As he often says, “It all depends on the weather.”
