John Negovetich is a Financial Advisor with Wela Financial and has been in the financial services industry since 2001. A native of Chicago, John brings a multifaceted perspective to personal finance with experience spanning retail and wholesale mortgage lending, consumer credit counseling, and investment advisory. His diverse background enables him to provide comprehensive financial guidance tailored to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.
John attended St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana, proudly following in the footsteps of several family members—including his father, uncle, cousin, and great-uncle, who served as a professor in the college’s music department.
John and his wife, Meriann, have two grown children, Alyssa and Alex, who are both pursuing their passions in social work and music composition. Outside of work, John enjoys kayaking, hiking, biking, and playing guitar. A skilled craftsman, he also loves restoring antique and weathered guitars.
Dedicated to giving back, John volunteers as a financial coach through his church and has served as a leader for financial ministries. He contributed to updating and appears in Freed-Up Financial Living, a video series released by Willow Creek’s parachurch ministry, Good $ense Movement.
