Joe Cerda is a Brokerage Director with MassMutual, where he works with independent financial professionals to develop comprehensive risk protection solutions for their clients. He provides guidance in case consultations, estate and business planning, plan design, product positioning, and marketing and illustration support to help Financial Representatives deliver strong, client-centered outcomes.
Joe’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis, an MBA from Indiana University, and the Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designation from The American College. He holds life, health, property and casualty, and long-term care licenses in Indiana, and is securities registered with Series 6, 7, 24 and 63 licenses. Joe also serves as an approved MassMutual State CE Instructor for Indiana, further supporting the professional development of financial representatives across the state.
An active leader within the industry, Joe is a Past President of both the Central Indiana Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and NAIFA Indiana. He is also a member of the Indiana Association of Health Underwriters (IAHU) and has previously served as President of the MassMutual Brokerage Director Advisory Committee*.
