Eric Essex is a Financial Advisor with Wela Financial. He provides a holistic approach to customize insurance and investment strategies to help meet the financial wants and needs of the individuals, families, and small businesses he serves.
Eric turned the transferable skills he learned as a graphic designer and printer of 20 years into a financial services career that is now in its 28th year serving his clients. He joined Wela Financial in 2018.
He is a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) since 2005 and served as the 2024 Illinois State President. He holds several designations that continue to enhance his education in his field. He also holds the Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC®) designation and is a qualifying member of MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table).
In his spare time, Eric and his wife Roxanne participate in their three area Chamber of Commerce chapters and the Yorkville Kiwanis Club. Eric is also active in Scouting America (BSA) with his grandson and Girl Scouts of America with his daughter and granddaughters.
