David is the Chief Investment Officer with WestPoint Financial Group located in our Indianapolis office. He’s a pivotal force in shaping the firm’s investment strategy and assisting advisors in crafting tailored investment portfolios for their clients.
With over 7 years of experience in the finance industry, David has worn various hats, offering a diverse perspective that enriches the team at WestPoint Financial Group.
David is a graduate of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI, where he played baseball for 4 years, showcasing not only academic prowess but also sporting talent. He pursued his MBA in Finance in 2017, demonstrating his dedication to furthering his knowledge in the field. Furthermore, he holds the prestigious CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation and is an active member of the CFA society in Indianapolis.
Before joining the WestPoint Financial Group, David held a significant role as a Portfolio Strategist at Oxford Financial Group in Carmel. Prior to that, he served as a Financial Advisor at an Ameriprise office in St. Joseph, MI.
Beyond the finance world, David finds joy in spending quality time with his beloved family—his wife, McKenzie, and their two children, Mitchell (4) and Joelle (2), who reside in Fishers, IN. Together, they explore the beauty of local parks and various engaging activities. David is a devoted Ohio State fan and eagerly cheers for his beloved Buckeyes every fall. Music holds a special place in his heart, and while he currently plays the piano, he aspires to master the guitar someday.
