Matthew Homan

As a financial advisor Matthew firmly believes that it is his upmost responsibility to care for his clients with a level of service, care, understanding, and thoughtfulness that exceeds expectations. Having been raised around a family with exceptional work ethic, self-motivation, and long-term career goal achievement, Matthew learned from an early age that you get out of your life and career what you put into it.

Matthew has spent his entire career in various customer service positions. From delivering parts for semi-truck drivers, working his way up to managing that very same parts store, to his most recent position, selling parts at a John Deere dealership. He has always been drawn to helping people accomplish their tasks and continue to pursue their goals. Even though he enjoyed his success and took great pride in his work, he always felt there was more to be had from his journey and desired to have a more direct, positive impact on people’s lives.

After some soul searching and discussions with Kelly Weaver, he joined the Platinum Financial Group Stowers & Associates family, and now feels that this is exactly where he is meant to be. Even though it took over a decade of work, setbacks, and doubt, he feels that these experiences uniquely position him to connect with people on a personal level and to better serve them. Matthew and his wife Loryn live in Union Mills, IN, the same town that he was born and raised in, along with their two cats and one dog. Loryn owns a successful small business as a wedding photographer and they enjoy eating at new restaurants, helping on his family farm, having game nights with family and bowling.

Matthew’s long-term plan is to remain at Platinum Financial Group Stowers & Associates and help guide as many people as possible on their financial journey, working with them as a team. He also holds a very special place for helping farmers navigate pitfalls and pass down their family farm to the next generation so that it remains in the family and can continue to succeed for years to come.
