Michael O’Neill
Michael O’Neill Jr. joins WestPoint Financial Group after five years at Northwestern Mutual Chicagoland. While at Northwestern Mutual from 2015-20, Michael was named a Pace Setter 40 in 2015, Rookie of the Year in 2016, and finished Top 50 in Bronze (2015-16), Silver (2016-2017) and Gold (2017-2018) categories.
He is proud to offer a more robust platform for his clients and the resources at one of the largest midwestern firms, WestPoint Financial Group, which currently has 500 financial professionals and staff members located throughout Illinois, Indiana, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. The firm serves over *200,000 clients and services over **$36.7 billion in assets.
Michael and his team know that long-term financial security doesn’t happen by chance and therefore work diligently to help clients create a vision around their insurance and investment goals. They consider one’s unique vision to subsequently develop and execute a strategy built on life-long relationships and mutual trust.
He graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in pre-law. He was also a member of the EIU football team where he played during his college career.
He grew up on the Northside of Chicago and is still actively involved with his alma matter, Saint Patrick High School in addition to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. His roots on the Northwest side of Chicago are important to him although he services clients across the country.
