Originally from Iowa, Mercedes is a graduate of Kirkwood College, where she earned her Associate of Arts degree with a focus in Accounting, followed by time well spent at the University of Iowa. Her strong foundation in finance and management has supported a dynamic career path, including nearly 30 years in Property Management.
In addition to her corporate experience, Mercedes has been an entrepreneur since 2014, running her own successful Virtual Assistant business, where she supported clients worldwide with administrative and operational solutions.
Outside of work, Mercedes is a passionate solo traveler, always eager to explore new destinations. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and dogs, and can often be found experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes.
